Live-in Carer – Bath Somerset, (Female)

As a female Live-in Carer you will be providing care and support for individuals or couples, wishing to remain in their own home for as long as possible. Can you make a difference in someone’s life? Way Ahead Care is an established business and has provided care in the local community for over 25 years. We are looking for a female Live-in Carer with at least 1 year’s social care experience.  Do you have experience of Residential, Nursing or Home Care?  You must be eligible to work in the UK with a good level of English communication, written and verbal.  This role supports a genuine occupational requirement.  It is therefore exempt from the Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1.

Offering Live-in Care services throughout the South West our carers are able to provide one to one care for clients with a variety of needs. We have a number of clients just waiting for us to hire more staff so they can start receiving the care and support they require.

As a Live-in Carer duties will include:

  • Support and assistance with all personal care requirements.
  • Prompting and administration of medication.
  • Preparing meals.
  • Light domestic duties.
  • Laundry.
  • Accompanying the client to appointments or social events.

COVID-19 Note: Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided to ensure your safety whilst at work.  Therefore, gloves, aprons, masks, hand sanitiser and face shields (when necessary) will be available.

We are able to offer you a Skype interview.  Accommodation during the initial training may be provided if you do not live in the Somerset area.

A full UK driver’s license would be an advantage but this is not essential.
