Extra Care Housing
The Extra Care Housing Schemes, or ECHs as they are commonly known, forms part of our contracts with Social Services. The ECHs provide supported accommodation where tenants live independently and are able to use the facilities within the scheme and are provided with a midday hot meal.
A team of Way Ahead Care & Support Assistants provide a varied range of assessed care to the residents and provide cover for scheme mangers off duty times.
Way Ahead currently provide the care and support in 4 Extra Care Housing Schemes within Smoerset.
