Longs Service Awards
Way Ahead celebrated both the long service and training achievements of its staff in a special presentation evening at their head office, Accuro House, Tuesday 13 th June 2006.
Presented by Clare Steel, Head of Adult Services at County Hall the purpose of the evening was to recognise staff for their continual service to the company and for those recently achieving their NVQ level 2 and 3 awards.
Special praise was also shown to Janet Smith and Stuart Buzza who have both worked for Way Ahead for past 10 years.

Janet was the first Care and Support Assistant employed by Managing Director Pamela Smith 10 years ago and continues to work within the community. Janet now helps with the mentoring of new employees joining the company and has also been seen on Points-West promoting the role of Care and Support Assistants though the media |

Stuart has progressed through the company becoming a Team Leader, Induction Trainer and NVQ Assessor. Stuart currently works on Way Ahead's "Out of Hours Service" providing specialist care to Service Users within the community through the night. |

Staff recognised for their NVQ achievement where, Doreen Trappnell, Helen Elson, Liza Uglow, Rowena White, Annette Beasely, Dawn Tilson, Jane Leat, Carli Parrott, Kerrie Ayres, Shirley Binding, Maggie Maynard, and Monika Stennett.
