Quality Assurance
The assurance of on-going Quality of Service And Service User Satisfaction is paramount in Way Ahead Care.

Any care package delivered by Way Ahead Care will be subject to our Quality Assurance (QA) process throughout its life. Processes which can include QA Visits, surveys and consultations. The data collected is vital in the development of quality services, the service delivery and is a vehicle of measurement for internal performance indicators. We continue to monitor services and develop projects to improve, where possible, service delivery for all Service User groups.

Way Ahead Care’s own training division, Step Ahead Training Centre, ensure that their entire staff, regardless of their previous experience, undergoes a vigorous Induction programme. All Induction courses have been developed in line with the National Occupational Standards as well as the Common Induction Standards recognised by Skills for Care, the sector skills specialists.

This induction programme ensures that all staff employed by Way Ahead Careare capable and competent to deliver the quality services we expect. Upon completion of their initial induction training all Way Ahead Care staff are actively encouraged to progress through Way Ahead Care’s NVQ program where staff are expected to achieve a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and progress to NVQ Level 3 as their experience develops. We actively encourage staff to further themselves with continual training and internal pathways, which is acknowledged through its continual Investors in People recognition.

Way Ahead Care is also a Strategic Partner of both Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset Local Authorities. This is only achieved through completion of a vigorous tendering process and subject to annual assessment of service delivery and review.

Way Ahead Care is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our current inspection report can be viewed here.
