Community Care & Support Assistant
Way Ahead are always looking for the special people we need to provide the care and support within the community. We are especially looking for people anyone that is able to work both evenings and weekends and early morning starts throughout the week (07:00 start)
Duties can be anything from help Service Users up and out of bed, washing and dressing, making them a meal or some light domestic duties.
Way Ahead cover all of Taunton and surrounding areas as well as Wellington, Wiveliscombe, Milverton and Bishops Lydeard so you must have your own motorised transport. To see the area that Way Ahead cover please click here
You will be able to choose your own working hours to suit your personal circumstances, although we do ask all staff to work some part of every other weekend. Your would be set over a "2 week availability" which would stay the same and roll over ever week.
Working as a Community Care & Support Assistant is very rewarding and fulfilling as you get to meet lots of different people throughout the local community and provide an essential and valuable service to allow adults of all ages and disabilities stay within their own home for as long as possible
