Care Manager – Bath
Way Ahead Care wishes to recruit a Care Manager for a domiciliary care provision based on the outskirts of Bath.
The provision provides circa 900 hrs of home care a week, employs circa 45 care staff and 4 office based staff. Way Ahead Care currently holds a contract with the Local Authority until April 2019 to deliver home care throughout Bath, Keynsham and surrounding areas. The make-up of provision equates to 75% Local Authority funded and 25% self-funded. However the business aim is to reverse that ratio before the end of the current contract arrangements.
The candidate will be required to maintain the current level of service, ensure the efficient running of the office and service delivery – Ensuring a good quality of service is delivered and meeting our regulatory obligations. A good knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements is essential. This position will be required to become the Registered Manager for this location after successful completion of probation period.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5 with an expectation of ‘over-arching’ on call on rotation with other managers and other duties as and when the business requires.
