Gibb Garden is in full bloom.
Staff at Gibb House Extra Care Housing Scheme have been supporting one of the tenants in tidying up the scheme garden. So much so that the garden has now been entered in the House in Sedgemoor Gardening competition.
Gardening has many positive benefits including heart health, reducing stress, improving sleep and hand strength to name a few. Gardening can also enable one to enter the ‘zone’, also known as an altered state of consciousness, this is similar to what a jogger or someone who practices yoga or meditation can experience.
Gibb Houses’ garden has now come into full bloom. We think it looks wonderful. Thank you to all of the staff and tenants who worked so hard to make it look lovely.
