We are registered with the UK government regulators – the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and are subject to unannounced inspections on a regular basis.
The assurance of on-going quality, continuous improvement and client satisfaction is paramount for Way Ahead Care. Any care package delivered by Way Ahead Care will be subject to our Quality Assurance (QA) process throughout its life. This process will include QA Visits from senior staff, postal surveys and consultations with clients.
The results collected are vital in ensuring a continuous improvement in services, and are a measurement for internal performance. We continue to monitor services and develop projects to improve, where possible, service delivery for all client groups.
Way Ahead Care’s own training department, Step Ahead Training, ensure that their entire workforce, regardless of their previous experience, undergoes a vigorous Induction programme. All Induction courses have been developed in line with the national standards and requirements as set out by Skills for Care, the sector skills specialists, and our regulatory body The Care Quality Commission.
We are a Strategic Partner of both Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset Local Authorities. We are also contracted with Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to provide Fast Track End of Life Services. This is only achieved through completion of a vigorous tendering process and subject to quarterly and annual assessment of service delivery and review.
We are always pleased to hear from our service users and hope this will be of a complimentary nature. However sometimes individuals may have a complaint about our service and we encourage them to tell us about this. To view our Complaints Procedure, please click here.
