Way Ahead Care are looking to recruit a full time Support Worker to deliver support service within our discreet support department.
Way Ahead Care provides personalised support and care to select number for people with learning disabilities; autism; and other complex conditions, including those diagnosed with Mental Health issues. You will provide support to individuals and their families living in their own homes. They would like you to help them with aspects of their personal care and participate in a range of activities both at home and in the community
We are looking for a flexible committed, well-motivated individual with great communication skills to join our team. Previous experience working with Service Users with Complex needs is desired.
The successful candidates need to have access to motorised transport and be prepared to travel to the homes of our Service Users within Taunton Deane and Sedgemoor.
Varied shifts 7am -2pm, 5pm-10pm or 8am – 5pm. There may be the need to provide support and care to the users at alternative times or in addition to the on-going package. Any temporary changes to working hours will be negotiated as and when required.
