We are very pleased to announce that Way Ahead Care did ‘the double’ at the Care & Support West (CSW) Care Awards this past Saturday with both our nominees winning their category!

This was the 2^nd of what is now an annual event for the ex-Avon Authority’s very own ‘Oscars’ for adult social care, recognising the outstanding dedication of individuals and teams working within the sector. The gala ceremony and dinner took place at the Luxury Marquee, Bath Race Course, Lansdown, Bath,

Barbara Lowe was the first winner on the night in the Domiciliary Registered Care Managers Awards category. The success continued as Sue Rodgers was announced as a winner in the Home Care Font Line Worker Category. This success means that Way Ahead Care has had a winner at both CSW Care Awards, a trend we would very much like to continue.

Barbara and Sue will now be put forward as nominees for the South West regional Great British Care Awards held in Bristol later this year. – Fingers crossed!
